Un libro celebre assicura al suo autore l'immortalità, però qualsiasi libro assicura ai suoi personaggi l'immortalità. E non congelandoli tra le righe. L'immortalità dei personaggi è quando ogni volta che leggi il libro, loro sembrano sorprenderti. Un libro è un'infinità di libri. Un’infinità buona. Un'infinità bella. Comunque non si tratta solo di sorprendere. I libri sorprendono. Ma al di là di questo loro avvolgono. Ti avvolgono.

A famous book ensures its author’s immortality, but any book ensures its characters’ immortality and not by freezing them between the lines. Immortality is when the characters seem to surprise you every time you read the book. A book is an infinity of books, a good infinity, a beautiful infinity. Yet it’s not just all about being surprised. Books may surprise, but beyond that they embrace. They embrace you.

Last station - L'ultima stazione

Il film presenta la storia di un uomo che porta uno zaino sporco e pesante. Quest'uomo è solo, triste e immerso nei ricordi del passato. Nel mezzo della foresta, trova una stazione amministrata da un capo stazione. Questo aspetta il treno, però nessun treno arriverà fino a quando il capo stazione non sarà contento. L'uomo si vede bloccato in questo posto e l'unica cosa che può fare è accettare che deve sbarazzarsi del bagaglio per poter continuare il suo viaggio.

The film tells the story of a Man carrying his loud and dirty backpack. The man is lonely, sad and haunted by his past. In the middle of the forest he comes across a small train station ruled by an old Station Chief. He waits for the train but none will come until the Station Chief is pleased. The Man finds himself stuck in this place and the only thing for him to do is to accept that he must get rid of his backpack in order to continue his journey.

Ipohondris

“’Ho scelto di realizzare il mio primo mio film avendo come tema la paura. Questo sentimento è l'unico che ci rende ansiosi però, nello stesso tempo, ci fa sentire liberi. Trovo che la paura sia una componente maggiore nel lavoro di un artista. Nella mia mente, la paura diventa immaginazione e a volte, l'immaginazione prende vita. Dedico questo film a tutti gli attori con i quali ho collaborato, perché loro sono stati quelli che mi hanno ispirato per creare questi personaggi strani del film. Questo film è nato dalla paura dello sconosciuto, e dall'amore per i miei attori.”

“I’ve chosen to make my first movie on the subject of fear. This feeling is the one that gives us anxiety, but at the same time freedom. I find in fear the major component for an artist’s work. In my mind, fear becomes imagination, and sometimes imagination becomes life. I dedicate this movie to all the actors that I worked with for they were the ones that inspired me in creating the strange characters in the movie. It is out of fear for the unknown and love for my actors that this movie was born”.

Un breve documentario su un artigianato in via di estinzione, sia in Romania che nel resto del mondo: la scultura in pietra. Il film mostra il dramma dell'ultimo marmista dalla Romania, che sta facendo questo artigianato.

It's a short documentary about an endangered handcraft from Romania and from all over the world: the stone carving. The film shows the drama of the last stonegrinder from Romania, who is doing this handcraft.
