Other Movie Lugano Film Festival sottolinea l’importanza delle rappresentazioni cinematografiche di opere provenienti da autori che pongono uno sguardo altro, innovativo e diverso sulla contemporaneità e sulla diversità.

Anche la quarta edizione del Festival si propone di far crescere questo spazio culturale nel quale guardare, ascoltare e discutere i film che raccontano del rapporto diretto dell’uomo con l’arte, con lo spazio in cui arriva, vive o da cui parte, con la società e con la natura. “Sguardo da vicino” è il concorso di cortometraggi con cui il Festival intende dare spazio a tutti i progetti cinematografici focalizzati su questi argomenti

Other Movie Lugano Film Festival - Sguardo da vicino is a short film competition that underlines the talent coming from the works of film directors .

“Sguardo da vicino” is the short films contest through which the Festival aims to give space and voice to film projects with a different focus on the relationship between man and land, man and society, man and nature, with a different “other” sight.

Regolamento del concorso Sguardo da vicino

1- Il concorso è aperto a tutti.

2- L’iscrizione al Festival è gratuita. Sono a carico dei partecipanti tutte le spese relative alla spedizione della documentazione video.

3- Il Festival si terrà a Lugano. La programmazione verrà resa nota nelle settimane precedenti l’avvio dell’evento.

4- La durata del film (comprensiva di titoli) non deve superare i 30 minuti. Saranno accettate opere sia edite sia inedite realizzate dal 2013 in avanti.

5- Tutti i corti selezionati saranno presentati durante le giornate del Festival nella sezione “Sguardo da vicino”. Gli autori verranno avvisati via e-mail dalla direzione del Festival.

6- La giuria sarà composta da personalità del mondo del cinema e della cultura. Al termine del Festival sarà decretata l’opera vincitrice. Il giudizio della giuria è insindacabile.

7- Le copie dei cortometraggi faranno parte dell’archivio del Festival e non saranno pertanto restituite.

8- È previsto un premio in denaro per il primo classificato. L’importo sarà comunicato a tempo debito sul sito www.othermovie.ch

9- I film dovranno pervenire entro e non oltre il 15 maggio 2015.

10- Per la partecipazione al concorso è necessario compilare in ogni sua parte e inviare la scheda del film. Clicca qui per la compilazione online.

11- Modalità di invio:

Tramite segnalazione del link del film sul modulo di iscrizione, oppure invio tramite Wetransfer, Dropbox entro il 20 maggio.

I registi dei film selezionati verranno contattati dalla segreteria del Festival e invitati a inviare un link per scaricare il film ad alta risoluzione per la proiezione ufficiale.

EN/Entry Regulation

1- The competition is open to everyone. particolar to joung film, film schools or young productions.

2- The Festival registration is free. All postal fees are at the participants’ charge.

All genres welcome.

3- Maxim. film length: 30 minutes

4- The Festival will be held in Lugano, according to a schedule that will be announced not later than the 20 th may 2015

5- All submitted works must be a maximum length of 30 minutes. Videos both edited and unedited will be accepted, provided that they were completed after 1st January 2013.

6- All selected videos will be shown during the Festival’s days in the section “Sguardo da vicino”. The Festival will get in touch with all directors and authors.

7- The jury will be composed of personalities from the cinema and cultural world.

At the end of the Festival, the winner will be announced. The opinion of the jury cannot be contested.

8- The received copies of the short films will become part of the Festival’s archive and will not be returned.

9- There will be a prize for the winner and the amount will be announced in due time on the website www.othermovie.ch

10- The films must be received by the 15 May 2015.

11- All screeners must be accompanied by an on-line or mailed entry form completed in its entirety (the entry form is attached to this announcement).
